Abstract

The cerebriform intradermal nevus rarely is seen, characterized by varying development of furrows and folds resembling cerebral cortex. It can be differentiated morphologically from other forms of cutis vertis gyrata.
We experienced a case of cerebriform intradermal nevus which was a brownish, convoluted mass, 3x6x2cm in size occupying the occipitoparietal area. The lesion was excised and the defect was closed primarily
